Password Generator
Password Generator
How about a random password generator in the UCP? Could be a BBCode option as well.

Re: Password Generator
Users don't want random generated passwords. They are usually difficult to remember.

Re: Password Generator
What I was thinking of was a BBCode that will generate a password. Every time a user visits the topic, a password would be generated. It would be a locked topic.
It was a simple though.

Re: Password Generator
I'm sure said user can go to a site and get their password if they really want it like that. Nice suggestion but I don't think it would be useful for phpBB forums.

Re: Password Generator
A BBCode to generate a random password and then change that users password really makes no sense. But as a option in UCP it could be useful together with a requirement to regularly replace the password for some, I assume.
But I still think that users would hate that thing, and some forum admins would love it.

Re: Password Generator
Yes, I do know that force password change already is there. I meant "to be used with".
